Ladies Triangle Race - 17th September 2008

Only 5 gigs turned out for what seems to have been the last race of the season (?), but they did themselves proud on an evening so lovely that on the return home we dawdled to make the most of the beautiful sunset and mercurial water. If only every wednesday evening had been like this, there would have been a lot more rowing this season!

1. Men-a-vaur
2. Bonnet
3. Shah
4. Emperor
5. Czar

Ladies Newquay Championships

A brilliant weekend was had by all, despite disqualification after a good showing in the first heat for the mix and match 'b' crew (only 20 seconds slower than the MAVs!) .

The Men a vaur ladies crew went through to the second heat as 3rd fastest losers, but were then knocked out, allowing us all to enjoy watching the proceedings from Newquay Harbour.

For more Championship information, final results lists, etc visit www.cpga.co.uk For Facebook members there is the group www.gigrower.co.uk which has literally hundreds of photos to look through.
